Junpetrol price increase
It’s now official. The government had announced this on the news somewhere around afternoon I guess. Starting after midnight tonight the petrol price will be increased to RM2.70 per litre and diesel will be increased to RM2.58 per litre (official source from utusan). That’s a lot of increase! About 80 sen of difference! The largest increase I think! They said before that it will not put any heavy burden towards consumers but I really think it did.
Well obviously by now until midnight, petrol stations will be heavily crowded because of this. Just when I was driving on the way back home (using KL-Seremban highway route), I was ABLE TO NOTICE that all of the petrol stations that were located just beside the highway were extremely occupied. There were an extremely long queue line of vehicles that I think may reached to several kilometres too. Heck it even caused the traffic to move slowly, how could I not notice? :[

Thought of filling my tank to full too but I guess I’ll just have to pass it. Too many vehicles just makes it too hectic for me. Furthermore I see no point of filling fuel early just before the price increase, unless if you’re keeping a large stock of it and plan to sell it at updated price, that’s another story.

ahaa..rugi laa kau terlambat..kerana pada saat ini petrol sudah pon menjadi RM2.70 seliter….aku lawak gila tgk tv1 smlam..adakah patut nak menyamakan harga petrol di laos dan kamboja…hello..malaysia nih ada minyak sendiri la..buat apa nak jual mahal2…xleh pikir ke…aku lebih sokong DR.M kalau macam..sbb dia naikkan harga minyak tak lah teruk sgt…
ada yang kata petrol tak naik..cuma subsidi di buang..yaa memang pon..ini kerana kita bodoh…spatutnya..kita ludah amerika spt HUJAN..arrghghg :choler:

bodoh sangat nak compare dengan negara yang tak keluarkan minyak. sangat la bodo geram gile aku ni.
member aku cakap kat india, lebih kurang rm/5 seliter. lame2 camtu la jadi kat malaysia kalau terus camni. :choler:

31/5/08 = fill the tank for RM60.00, 31.27L @ 1.920 RM/L
then
5/6/08 = fill the tank again for RM60.00, but this time, 22.21L @ 2.704 RM/L
10L difference! OMG!!! like this if before I can go for 5/6 days with RM60, now I think can go for about 3/4 days only!!! :[

anyway aku dgr kata petrol akan naik lagi…naik camner lagi ler agaknyer! dlm surat khabar kata harga minyak dalam pasaran sebenarnya RM3.00…so minyak sekarang dh pn RM2.70…naik pe lagi!? aiyoo!!

When the petrol price increased, I was still having a good vacation in Cambodia. It’s shocking of course, not a news I want to hear during a holiday.
But I’m more amazed by the fact that sometimes kita rakyat biasa ni macam rasa sangat pandai and lebih bagus dalam hal ehwal ekonomi minyak ni. Kadang-kadang dapat email yang bagi simplistic calculations n simplistic arguments. I always reserved my comments on the petrol issue since I can honestly say I’m still trying to understand this whole oil crisis issue , the free market sytem, international oil traders, and market speculation. Only then I’ll be prepared to comment.
Lebih ironic lagi, yang marah harga minyak naik tu la yang pergi stesen minyak mlm sebelum naik mengkayakan lagi stesen2 minyak ini, huhuuu

haha yeah i know…ader gak dpt mende2 camtu but whether it’s true or not tu wallahualam la…
well biasak ler rakyat malaysia ni…besok rege da naik malam tu balun isi minyak cukup2….not for me though…hehe
