Warning – KL taxis and for Ladies

On Saturday, 16th, at 6:45pm my sister (original email writer) boarded a taxi at the Wangsa Maju LRT to return home.
At the end of the road, the taxi driver stopped to pick up another passenger male) who seemed to be going off the same direction. Well, my sister didn’t suspect anything funny as they looked genuine, and he was going her direction and she was in a hurry. Little did she suspect that she was in for a huge trauma! But when she asked the taxi driver to turn into the junction where she lives, the driver pretended to miss it and the male passenger said that since they were already nearer to his place, why not send him off first and the driver politely asked my sister if that’s ok…and she thought she was doing a good deed!
As soon as they got to the end of the housing area next to the big walls of the Akademi TV3, the male passenger, locked all the doors and leapt to the back and held a knife at her throat and forced her to bend her head down – she had to give up her jewelry, and the $200 cash she had. Not satisfied with only that much, they threatened for more so they drove off to Maybank Jln Setapak and took out everything she had that was around 7:30pm …..
The driver returned the card after clearing the account ! Then they drove off to the back area of Tasik Titiwangsa and dropped her off there. Left her with only $10 and ask her! to take another taxi home! My sister had to walk a long way back to the main road to get help and she is really traumatised by all these. Later at the police station we found out that she was victim #3 that same day!
Let’s remind everyone we know, as it could easily happen to us too or to anyone we care about. The lesson to be learnt here:
1. always check the plate # BEFORE you board a taxi.
2. always check the other things that a taxi should have – the driver’s ID, the inside number etc etc.
3. NEVER allow the driver to pick up another passenger – No matter what ! if they do, get off and just pay the man.
4. avoid taking the taxi alone, if you can.
5. be extra careful if it is after office hours.*for Guys, Pls 4wd this mail to gals u know…*

ARGHH! tgh boring banget nih! tatau nak watpe. Baru lepas melantak sambil tgk American Idol…minggu ni tema adalah latin. Aku ni bukan selalu nengok nyer pn…pasal da takder mende lain nak tgk layan ajerlar…artis undangan yg dijemput utk memberi tips kpd peserta lak adalah Jennifer Lopez. Persembahan peserta sumer hebat2 belaka kecuali pompuan yang sorang tu saper namer ntah…mmg setuju ngan judges mengatakan yang persembahan cam style karaoke ajer…mmg flat dan tak menarik. Enough about American Idol!
Ingat nak tgk citer2 yg dah aku download…ala ader aku citer dlm entry seblom ni. Tapi aku ni jenis tak ske tgk time malam, mesti nak tgk time siang gak…pasal gerenti berhabuk mata nanti (nak tido ler aper lagi). Tapi kalau tgk wayang time camni lain lak citernyer…bole lak aku nengoknyer…huhu
Citer kat tv lak sumer nyer boring2 belaka…ch70 citer heroes…dah tgk…boring…cumer nak tunggu CSI @ ch17…lamer lagi dalam sejam…takut tersangkut tengah jalan (terlentok) lak nnt dok tunggu punye tunggu.
Dan kesudahannya….aku pn merapu ler dlm entry kali ni…:P
arzam & baya’s wedding
Entri pertama untuk bulan April ni, dimulakan dengan my long lost best friend, getting married, semalam 1st April (bukan hoax april fool ek) kat kampung dier di Parit Serong, Tanjung Karang. Actually kitaorang telah terputus hubungan sejak dia pindah ke sekolah lain lepas abes PMR tahun 96 dulu…kira 10 tahun gakler lamanyer…(terasa tua dah nih). At last dapat gak bertemu salah sorang lagi ex-schoolmate aku ni (memang berharap sangat dapat berjumpa ngan geng seasrama/sekelas aku time skola dulu, tapi hampa gak coz sekoq pn tak jumpa masa kat kenduri kawen aritu except lagi satu member aku Dayat 
). Dah berumahtangga dah member aku sorang ni. Satu lagi yang beshnyer kitorang ni berkongsi tarikh lahir yang sama (yerp aku masih ingat lagi…tatauler dier ingat ker idak). Kira aderlar celebrate masa skola especially masa dok kat asrama dulu.
Lama sangat tak jumpa, sekali tengok rupa lain daa…agak “semangat” sket, huhu. But trademark dier still sama, tang “senyum” dier tu…hahah
So tahniah ler buat pasangan Arzam & Baya (tak silap nama lucky girl tu Norbaya kot, orang Langkawi tu 
). Moga bahagia sehingga ke akhir hayat. Kata si Arzam dier ader sewa apartment kat Sri Kembangan kat Equine Park nun…keje lak kat Cyberjaya. lol dekat ler sangat ngan rumah aku kat Sri Serdang ni…hopefully leh jumpa lebih kerap lagi after this
